Preoperative templating for Total Hip Replacement
The image shown here was taken with Orthomark spherical marker, which is placed at bone level when x-ray is taken. The marker appears on the image as a circle that is automatically detected by TraumaCad software for scale calibration.
This image includes a measurement tool that measures the resulting leg-length discrepancy resulting from pathology on the left side.
The templates used here are cementless stem and cup, which are placed in the position shown, mimicking the same procedure performed with analog film and acetate template, which makes it highly intuitive to use.
