HCS to offer an integrated digital orthopedic surgical
planning and templating solution, TraumaCad, within HCS PACS
Montgomery, Alabama – April 24, 2006 – Health Care Systems, Inc. headquartered in Montgomery, Alabama, known for solutions which meet customers’ growing needs through innovative functionality, has selected Orthocrat to provide HCS PACS clients a solution to easily and exactly manipulate images from HCS PACS and virtually prepare for fixation and prosthetic solutions prior to any invasive technique.
HCS PACS, offered by HCS since late 2004, is currently deployed in facilities in Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Texas. HCS PACS serves facilities such as critical access hospitals, LTACs, community hospitals, and multi-facility integrated healthcare delivery networks. The addition of TraumaCad to the HCS PACS offering will add the following functionality:
