Web-Based, Thin Client Solution Supports New Industry Leading Features

TraumaCad has been a fully web-based, thin-client application for over a year and has set the pace for flexibility, open architecture, integration with a full range of complementary applications as well as advanced functionality.
Supporting its current open, fully Web-based architecture, Traumacad Version 1.5 includes:
- Improved features for implant and fragment manipulation. Enhanced speed, accuracy, line visibility, window leveling, resolution and transposition from AP to lateral are just some of the new industry-leading innovations.
- Automatic template updating through the server. Updates are automatically sent to the proxy server automatically and by request to the stand alone workstations.
- Excel data base export. For ease of data processing for research, follow up and case studies, information from the preoperative plan and special measurement tools now can be exported by request to excel tables.
- Automatic ZeroClick calibration.
Images, implants and other visuals are automatically presented in the same scale.
- Sub-specialty specific measurement tools. Users across all sub-specialties now enjoy easy measurement of various angles and relations, in different orthopedic sub specialties such as spine pediatric, foot and ankle and more.
- Pediatric pelvic tool wizard. A simple 6-step wizard helps users follow up and make surgical decisions regarding the pediatric pelvis.
- Growth calculator. A new feature supports Dr. Dror Paley's multiplier for prediction of limb length discrepancy and timing of epiphysiodesis.
- Automatic offset and leg length discrepancy analysis in THR preoperative planning.
Current users will receive upgrades automatically through TraumaCad’s automated Web software upgrading and template library management system.
